Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good almost immediately. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since they reduce sweat. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already softened so your feet just adjust easily.
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Would you buy again?
Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
